I’m Lloyd Wright, a freelance documentary photographer and filmmaker working between Somerset and London. My practice is rooted in minimalism—keeping productions lean and unobtrusive to create space for real, human moments to unfold naturally.

Whether I’m working on a long-form photo essay or a short film, my aim is always the same: to tell honest stories with clarity and empathy. By staying close to my subjects and avoiding unnecessary artifice, I’m able to build trust and capture images that feel intimate, grounded, and true to life.

My work spans a range of themes, often exploring community, identity, and everyday rituals. I work with individuals, organizations, and editorial clients who value subtlety, sincerity, and a documentary perspective.

If you’re looking for a quiet, considered approach to visual storytelling, I’d love to hear from you.
